The map below shows ferry routes in the Black Sea connecting countries such as Bulgaria, Turkey, and Ukraine. While routes like Varna to Poti and Istanbul to Odessa are historically important, ongoing regional tensions have significantly reduced or suspended many passenger services. The Batumi to Burgas route is still active and running.
