As shown on the map above, ferry routes in the Gulf of Mexico (also known as the Gulf of America) link the United States, Mexico, and Cuba. Check our map for all active ferry connections.
There is no major long-distance ferry crossing comparable to trans-sea routes (for example, crossing directly from the U.S. Gulf Coast to Cuba or across the central gulf) in regular passenger service. Some freight or rail ferry arrangements exist in other contexts, but those are not standard passenger ferries.
